Beniamino Poserina (born November 6, 1970 in Monfalcone, Gorizia) is a retired male decathlete from Italy, who competed for his native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. A member of Fiamme Azzurre Roma he set his personal best score (8169 points) in the men's decathlon on October 6, 1996 in Formia. That mark still is the national record. The 1996 Summer Olympics of Atlanta, officially known as the Games of the XXVI Olympiad and unofficially known as the Centennial Olympics, was an international multi-sport event which was celebrated in 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
