Our customer reviews

There’s always this perceived notion that sequels need to be just as good as the first book. With A Beautiful Evil that notion is definitely met. Slower pace in the beginning of the book, but it does pick up the pace, and it picks up well. I could see the scenes play out in my head. I love when there’s a lot of action, and it’s detailed enough to not bore you. There’s enough twists and turns that keeps you reading all the way to the end. Ari is back and making sarcastic witty remarks right and left. There’s a whole lot of history that was revealed about her ancestors which I immensely enjoyed. Even though she reveals a touch exterior, she has a sense of vulnerability whenever someone she cares about is in peril, and who better to rescue them than her? Athena is after her for reasons she doesn’t know, so she needs to find the answers before it’s too late. I love the Greek mythology interlaced into the story and I love how Athena is even more of a villain She’s even more horrible than before. It’s such a wonderful retelling, that I wished there were more books. Hopefully this isn’t just a trilogy? Because I like Kelly Keaton’s writing style. She delivers the story and keeps you wanting more.show more
