Description

Welcome to BEAUTIFUL BOTANICALS I - An Adult Coloring Book. Ready to relax, de-stress & have some fun? It's time to let your creative "kid" come out to play! Coloring books aren't just for kids anymore. We have digitally created 25 black & white sketches from the beautiful antique botanical works of Curtis Botanicals - a magazine publication that began in the late 1700's and ended in the early 1800's. We have painstakingly removed the water spots, foxing and other page damage to make these drawings to color. Some designs in this book are relatively easy to complete while you may find other designs a bit more intricate and challenging. We have displayed the "as found" colored originals on three pages of this book. Use them as a beginning reference for coloration, if you wish. There is no right or wrong color or design so be as creative or traditional as you'd like. The key is to relax and let your mind focus on your design work. About Carol Elizabeth Mennig

Carol Mennig discovered her love of botanical art during her years as co-owner of two successful upscale antiques businesses in Connecticut. She acquired antique botanical books and prints whenever she could find them and kept up her interest when she semi-retired to Florida in 2001. She became involved in web and graphic design and created websites for businesses throughout the country and in the UK. She now concentrates solely on botanical art - both antique and her own. She has published several botanical design books which are available on Amazon and select bookstores. Carol resides in Sebastian, FL with her husband John and two much loved dogs - a female Golden Retriever named Dakota and a male Great Pyrenees named Max.show more
