BEA AND ME is the tender story of the close relationship between a vibrant senior and the younger gay man who befriends her. A casual encounter in a nursing home leads to a six-year friendship filled with the things they both love -- crafting and stitchery. Filled with their many deep conversations about family and friends, relationships, and God, this younger man helps Bea cope with her life in a nursing home and becomes a dear friend and confidant.

About Bruce R Arnold
Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Mr. Arnold moved to Houston, Texas in the early 1970's to attend college. Receiving his Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in 1973, Mr. Arnold worked in several hospitals and nursing homes before becoming an Activities Consultant. With his love of arts and crafts and the geriatric population, he volunteered at several local nursing homes after his retirement from the business sector in 2004. Mr. Arnold currently lives with his long-time partner in a suburb of Houston.
