Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Ballysadare is a village about 7 kilometres from Sligo town Centre. Built on the Ballysadare river, the area experienced rapid growth during the 'Celtic Tiger' boom, with many new housing developments, many of which now lie empty, creating phantom estates. The village was once choked with heavy traffic before the N4 Sligo-Collooney dual-carriageway was completed in January 1998. The N59 Ballina-Sligo road still winds through the village. It is home to St.Mary's College which serves the southern evirons of Sligo and surrounding areas of Collooney, Coolaney and western County more
