About Rose Thodey

Rose Thodey is the author of the widely respected An Introduction to Garden Design, and has judged the Ellerslie Flower Show for five years. Gil Hanly, prolific garden photographer for New Zealand and international magazines and books, has three earlier books on garden design to her credit- New Zealand City Gardens; Design Ideas for New Zealand City Gardens and New Zealand City Garden Style. Rose and Gil are co-authors of the highly successfu Landscape Gardens by New Zealand's Top Designers.
