Two new words daily for primary pupils and five for grammar grade pupils are enough, yet some teachers assign as many as thirty words to a lesson. The following type lesson in spelling is taken from Kendall and Mirick's Teaching the Fundamental Subjects. It indicates the better method: Time Limit---Twenty Minutes. 1.
