NIMBY. A 9/11-type terrorist attack in San Francisco? Unthinkable! And yet it has happened... Seizing the city's highest structure -- the Sutro Tower -- a team of deadly soldiers with tech support fire missiles destroying highways, and underwater tunnel, and parts of the main bridges connecting the city to the outside world. Citizens and visitors are held hostage for half a billion dollars, while the Delta Force and other authorities plan countermeasures including aremed drones. Who will be the victors and who the victims upon the Apex of Annihilation? Mark P. Cotter (From Brumal Sleep) crafts a modern tale of west coast terrorism that is all too likely to happen.show more
