He played for NK Primorje, NK Gorica, Olimpija Ljubljana, Paralimni, Anorthosis Famagusta, AC Omonia, Alki Larnaca and is currently playing for Pordenone Calcio in Italy. He plays for the Slovenia national football team and was a participant at Euro 2000. MNK Izola is a Slovenian football club from Izola, which played in Slovenian top division, 1. SNL, for five consecutive seasons during the early 1990s. Currently, the club is playing in Slovenian Third League.
