The reception of a large body of Members by the Archbishop of Canterbury in Lambeth Palace, and the kindly words then spoken to them by his Grace, will long be remembered by those who were privileged to be present on the occasion. "How To Recover The Lapsed Masses"--the tide of the papers read at the last Annual Meeting--has recently been published, with an Appendix, containing important matter relating to this subject. Those present at the reading of the papers could hardly have imagined the importance which the Church at large would attach to these productions. With the Introduction by Mr. Ingram, the whole seems destined to become a text-book of reference, whenever the opinions of working men on the Evangelization question are needed. It is hoped that every Branch of the Society will exert its best endeavours to promote the circulation of the work. Free copies will be supplied to any Working Men's Club or Institute that may be recommended to the Council by Local Branch Secretaries.
