Anna had everything figured out - she was about to start senior year with her best friend, she had a great weekend job and her huge work crush looked as if it might finally be going somewhere... Until her dad decides to send her 4383 miles away to Paris. On her own.

But despite not speaking a word of French, Anna finds herself making new friends, including Etienne St. Clair, the smart, beautiful boy from the floor above. But he's taken - and Anna might be too. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with the French kiss she's been waiting for?

Review quote

A wonderful book that is guaranteed to make you smile and laugh and melt inside. * The Guardian * A delightful love story with real friendships, and the writing is great. * Rainbow Rowell, Award-winning, bestselling author of Eleanor & Park and Fangirl * A funny and original book with a strong voiced protagonist that you will not want to put down. * George Lester, Waterstones Children's Bookseller * Anna and the French Kiss is all those things that girls long for... a fun, refreshing and life-affirming story which convinces us that love really does make the world go round. * The Lancashire Evening Post * Anna and the French Kiss captures perfectly what it is like to be a teenage girl - the hormones, the friendship fall-outs and make ups, the fun of having a crush and the stress of not knowing what to do with your life. * Make your own Fairy Tale *

About Stephanie Perkins

Having always worked with books - as a bookseller, a librarian, and now a bestselling novelist - Stephanie is most usually found writing at her desk with a cup of tea or coffee, except for at the weekends where she can be found at the movies, waiting for the actors to kiss. (She firmly believes that all novels and films should have more kissing.)

Our customer reviews

I thought this book is some kind of cheesy romance teen lit novels. But i turned out wrong. It was a romance novel, but not a cheesy one. I enjoyed that books so much. I fell in love with it more and more as im flipping trough the pages. From the beginning, its already interesting and it feels so alive, even the characters. This book can make me laugh, sad, and other mix feelings. I fell in love with the characters so much. Also, the plot and the problem in the book are so great, i couldnt even put the book down. It's so worth it!show more
