But Sophie has reckoned without Benedict's determined heart: he has sworn to find and wed his mystery miss, for he knows this is his only chance for a fairy tale love . . .

I am a fan of Ms. Julia Quinn. Reading her books was like flying backwards to the forgotten eras and living the old life of those people again. Once you start reading her book, you'll definitely buy another new book of hers, more and more. This is another book with another happy ending for the Bridgertons siblings. The only different that this novel made, was the true love between a mere Mister of Benedict Bridgertons and the illegitimate daughter of the not-so-famous-Earl of Penwood. Despite of all obstacles and hurdles from their society rank and dictions, their love more

I have read a few of Julia Quinns books and enjoyed them all, they are truly romantic fiction and pure escapism. However this book " Offer From a Gentleman" is by far the best! Having read the blurb I thought "aha! a Cinderella story" and it is, wicked step mother, servitude, ugly sisters etc but it's for grown ups. It has so many twists and turns and unexpected events. A rip roaring read for the summer when you need to escape to another time when there was honour and good more
