His last work, published in 1878, was a history of the various editions of Tyndale's Testaments, with numerous facsimile illustrations. What better guaranty of a good time could be given than that Chauncey M. Depew, Mark Twain, General Horace Porter, Mayor Hewitt, Senator Warner Miller and others have promised to attend the annual dinner of the Stationers' Board of Trade, to be held at the Brunswick in New York on the 10th of February? Will not this be an excellent opportunity for the stationarii to come together socially? There will be a good "feast of reason and flow of soul," which all who call themselves stationers--whether booksellers, publishers or sellers of pens, ink, paper, et id omve genus--can enjoy. Present members of the board or intending members will do well to secure seats on this occasion. It will be a representative assembly, and to be included at such a time as a member of so honorable a guild is in itself a good thing. Only a limited number of tickets will be issued, and early orders should be sent in to the committee, so that suitable arrangements may be made.
