Priestley is the architect for the 10-story office building to be erected on 31 feet of Baltimore Avenue land between Tenth and Eleventh Streets. The building will cost approximately $150,000, and contract for the construction is soon to be let. Paul A. Brooks, president of the organization of Kansas Free Staters of 1856, is taking measures toward the erection of a memorial building near the State University on Mount Oread, it is said. NEBRASKA OMAI-IA.----II is said that J. F. Bloom & Co., manufacturers of tombstones, now located on Farnam Street between Eighteenth and Nineteenth Streets, will build a new manufacturing plant on the lot acquired by that company on the northwest corner of Seventeenth and Cuming Streets. NEW JERSEY Honoicizn.---Tlie new building which the First National Bank of Hobokeii intends to erect will be located on the site of the present building, at Hudson and Newark Streets. Architect K. M. Murchison, of Manhattan, has been commissioned to prepare the plans. Plans and specifications are being prepared for the erection of the new building of the Trinity Evangelican Lutheran Church, West New York. The new edifice will be started probably in the early spring at the corner of Palisade Avenue and Sixteenth Street, which site the church has owned for some time, and will be of English Gothic type. Charles G. Jones, of Manhattan, is the architect. JERSEY CI'rY.--Director of Education john Bauer, of the Eighth Ward, has had plans and specifications adopted by the Board of Education of Jersey City for new School No. 33 in that ward.
