The Philadelphia Association of Friends for the Free Instruction of Adult Persons of Color, report that during the last winter, 188 different persons were entered upon the lits of the male school, and 278 upon Elementary Education in France. 285 those of the female schools; making, in the whole, a total of 411 colored persons who have partaken of the benefits which the Association thus afibrds for acquiring useful knowledge.
