A rare look at a teen boy stopping a rape, and a girl who's strong enough to move on with her life and push through a sad event of her past. Although this book deals with a dark and sad topic of teen dating violence, it is above all a beautiful love story. It's about two kids who went through some trauma and are forever changed because of it, but it's mostly about them falling in love and learning to trust themselves again and someone else as they move on and grow up despite their tangled pasts. The characters are great, the romance really moves you, and it is a wonderful book for teens and parents to read because it opens some difficult topics in a way that allows the readers to be invested, and to care. Read this book and fall in love.show more
