Allen Payne (born July 7, 1968) is an American film and television actor. Payne's first exposure on television was in 1990 on the sitcom The Cosby Show. During two seasons, he made several appearances portraying the character Lance Rodman. He also appeared as Marcus Stokes in an episode during season two of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. He made a guest appearance on Malcolm & Eddie as Prince. Payne has appeared in many films, including a role with Jada Pinkett Smith in Jason's Lyric. He also appeared in New Jack City, Vampire in Brooklyn and Double Platinum. He has also studied dance. Beginning in 2006, he starred in Tyler Perry's House of Payne. Ironically, he plays a character with the same last name as his, C.J. Payne. He had to take care of his two children, daughter Jazmine Payne (China Anne McClain) and son Malik Payne (Larramie "Doc" Shaw), at his Aunt Ella's and Uncle Curtis' house after his drug addicted ex-wife, Janine Payne (Demetria McKinney) burns down their house.show more
