Review Text

. . . with little good material as witnessed here in a disappointing collection by the Hugo Award winner. His novelette "A Style In Treason" which takes up a good portion of the book, is a mishmash-mesh of entanglements with professional traitors selling out. Only two of the other six short stories have any laser impact - "The Writing of the Rat" about man's confrontation with a horde of aliens that seem to spread like vermin, and "None So Blind," a jaded look at New York's blind beggars. The rest are strictly production numbers. (Kirkus Reviews)show more
