Description

A frightful affair with death in the air, will Lady Sarah's first All Hallows' Eve in Stickleback Hollow also be her last?

Though her parents are gone, Lady Sarah is starting to feel at home in Stickleback Hollow. Filled with dread for her first English ball, it is bearable because she feels like she has finally found somewhere to belong. But what is lurking in the foreboding dark mists rising around the sleepy village?

Rumours of strange beasts prowling the forests are more than simple superstition and imagination run amok when the dashing groundskeeper is discovered half-dead, and two other gentlemen go missing. Are the dark forces that have followed Lady Sarah from across the sea behind these dastardly occurrences, or is there a curse upon the head of the fearless peeress that will see her dead before dawn?

Can Lady Sarah survive the night of fright and find out who or what is responsible for all the strange happenings, or is she doomed to a dark end at the hands of demons?
