Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Albert C. Baschang, sometimes written as "Al Bashang" (August 22, 1888 - June 23, 1967) was a Major League Baseball player. Bashang played 6 games for the Detroit Tigers in July 1912 and 2 games for the Brooklyn Robins in 1918. In Detroit, he played 5 of his 6 games in left field, accompanied by Hall of Famers Ty Cobb in center field and Sam Crawford in right field. He had a perfect fielding percentage for the Tigers, but his batting average of .083 was not good enough to remain in the big leagues. In 1918, he got a second chance in Brooklyn, but only played in 2 games in July 1918.
