Besides his regular articles while editor of the Review, comprising about four thousand words in weekly editorials, and original articles as well, he wrote for other journals. For several years he was called upon to write the annual review of electrical industry for the New York Times. He wrote various articles for Nelson's Encyclopedia, The Electric Railway being one of these. A number of articles he contributed also to the Encyclopedia Americana.
