About Axel Avian

Axel Avian grew up in an organization not unlike FALCON in a town not unlike Springfield, Missouri. He has traveled the world for his work. To relax, he enjoys sky and scuba diving, hang gliding, rock climbing and snowboarding. He speaks four languages, reads whenever he can and routinely trounces opponents on video games. (Bring it.) He would also like to note that he is humble, easily amused and occasionally very funny.

Review quote

""Move over, James Bond: there's a new kid in town and he's way cooler. In Domino 29, author Axel Avian introduces us to Agent Colt Shore, a young, globetrotting secret agent who gets swept into an adventure he--and every reader--will not soon forget. Axel Avain has crafted a masterpiece of high stakes, fast action, and intriguing characters. It's a story that will have readers racing through the pages--and trying in vain to catch their breath. Domino 29 is a thrilling must-read!""--Robert Liparulo, author of the "Dreamhouse Kings "series" "and "The 13th Tribe"

""Imaginative, exciting! A Hogwarts for secret agents. Domino 29 will knock you over!"" - Bestselling author Andrew Gross

""Action sequences, nifty gadgets, exotic locales, and cinematic moments (including some memorable scenes set in the legendary Neuschwanstein castle), give this book a wide range of appeal."" - "Publishers Weekly"

""[Agent Colt Shore Domino 29] maintains a rising level of tension enlivened by humor, pop-culture references (including references to Bond, James Bond), death-defying stunts, just barely non-lethal action, and a spark of teen romance. It's the fantasy-fulfilling wild ride of a young man who has trained for a career as an intelligence analyst, and who suddenly finds himself a bit over his head in live-action-hero soup. It's a sometimes educational look at foreign sites we may not have visited before, even in books; full of convincing details and driven by non-stop momentum."" - Robin D. Fish, Jr. - Mugglenet.com Blog

""Great fast-paced page turner. Started it at one and stayed up till four because I couldn't bear having to wait to find out what happens next"." - Emily's Bookshelf Blog

Our customer reviews

Agent Colt Shore: Domino 29 is a fast-paced spy novel that will take you on a globetrotting, action-filled mission across the world. Alex Rider better watch out because there's a new spy kid in town. Colt Shore is not your typical 15 year old boy. He knows how to play drums, he goes to a secret-agent training school, knows 3 different language, have a third-degree black belt and he just recently found out that he's the son of two of the top agents of FALCON. So when an opportunity to be an active agent arises, he immediately accepted it, wanting to prove himself worthy of the job. Going to his first mission, he has to go undercover as a roadie for Thorne and Talya Ellis, two popular teen musicians of the band called Shadow, and should always keep an eye on them while in their USO tour in Afghanistan. But sometimes, the assignments you're given is seldom the assignments you end up on and Colt will soon find this out for himself. Colt was a really funny kid but he was a bit insecure and lacking self-confidence in the beginning. He redeemed himself, soon enough, as his mission went on. He was really great at adapting to the situation, he's a fast-thinker and a really fast-learner. He showed a lot of remarkable traits that is admirable. I think he can make it as a top agent and maybe even better than his father and mother. My favorite parts in the story were the car chase (which is really intense and fun) and the hang gliding part (which, I reckon, is breathtaking). I definitely envy Colt's profession. I wish I could be as adventurous and as fearless as him. To sum it up, Domino 29 is one heck of a roller-coaster adventure ride you wouldn't want to miss. I recommend it to all the thriller-seekers and adventure-lovers out there.show more
