Review quote

'I read 'After the Execution' by James Raven, because of the intriguing plot line. How could a man be executed after being on Death Row and not die? Pretty interesting, huh? James Raven's solution to the conundrum was well thought out and the premise had a ring of truth about it which all action thriller books need. Lee Jordan is a man who has lost everything, his life, his wife, his dreams and his future. The scenes inside the prison were well written and the reader was able to connect with Lee Jordan, which was vital for the action that was to follow. Lee Jordan spends the rest of the book trying to stay alive, with lots of twists and turns along the way, which I won't describe as I would hate to spoil the plot. Suffice it to say the story is finished off neatly, with all unanswered questions and narrative threads, explained. I enjoyed Mr Raven's style of writing, which was in the first person, past tense and he showed both sides of the story, even though it was written from Lee Jordan's point of view. After the Execution is an accomplished action thriller that won't disappoint. An easy choice for my e-thriller of the month.'
