We know the moral of the tortoise and the hare or the meaning of "sour grapes" because of the enduring legacy of the fables of Aesop told to generation after generation of children. She is also an award winning artist and illustrator. Her recent works employ the medium of pyrography (from the Greek "drawing with fire"), which uses heat to create images on a variety of surfaces.
