Whereas there are the nomber Beinforce ments for of 5,000 men leavyed m soudry counties of the realme, ulster-whereof 1,000 are appointed to be at the porte of Chester by the 20th of this monneth, to be thence transported Lough Foyle "Ulster unto Waterford in the Province of Mounster under the conduct of suche as shalbe appointed to take chardge of them. As in former occasions of publique service, so herein agayne wee are to require your care that you will take the veiwe and muster of theise men upon their arryvall, that wee may have knowledge from you that they be well chosen, their nombers compleate and sufficiently armed with severall sortes of weapons, to which end that you maie knowe the better what nombers of men are appointed to come to that porte wee send you herewithall a scedule of the nomber of men assessed to the severall counties where they are leavied, whom you shall see receyved by the roll indented...
