And to the ende that this may not be donne confusedlie but with good order her Majestie is pleased to make choise of Sir Calisthenes Brooke, knight, and to authorize him heereby in her Majesty's name to assemble, receave and take into his charge (for the conducting of them unto the armie of the States) all such persons aforesaid as shall voluntarilie or upon his motion or upon the motion of any other person or persons whome he shall emploie for the gathering of such men together (without any kinde of constraint) be contented to put themselves into the entertainement of the States and to be conducted by him or any other meete person under him into the Lowe Countries. And therefore these shalbe to will and require you, and in her Majesty's name to charge and comaund you and everie of you to whome it may appertaine, qnietlie to suffer the said Sir Calisthenes Brooke or any other meete person appointed by him for that purpose by sounde of dromme or by any other lawfull meanes to moove, procure and assemble unto him all such voluntarie men (saving suche persons as are before excepted) as wilbe contented to be emploied in the said service of the Low Countries, and to carrie and conveye them either by water or by lande unto Gravesend, where shipping and all other thinges necessarie for them shalbe in readynes for their traunsportacion uppon the charge of the States, and to give him your best helpe and assistaunce for the procurings, assembling and conveying of the said voluntarie men by all good and lawfull meanes.
