A warraunt to the Thresaurer of the Xtboa and First Fruictes to deliver m1" in prest to Benjamin Gonstoone. By lettres from the Busshop of Sarum and other Justices of the Peace in Wilteshire unto Sir William Herbert, Lieutenant there, it was declared that a reskewe was made by the Lord Sturton upon the Shrief whan he wolde have executed a writt of entre uppon assise for the manour of Stourton; whereupon the saied Lord Stourton was sent for, and being examined howe he durst contempt the Kinges officers and resist his lawes, denyed that ever he made any resistance, offring to put his hande to any thing the Counsaill woll devise or require him to do in tlns behalf.
