Acacia brownii (Heath Wattle) is an erect or speading shrub which is endemic to Australia. It grows to between 0.3 and 1 metre high and has rigid, terete phyllodes. The globular yellow flowerheads appear singly in the leaf axils from August to November, followed by curved flatseed pods which are 1.5 to 8 cm long and 3 to 5 mm wide. The species occurs on sandy or clay loam in dry sclerophyll forest, woodland or heath in Victoria, New South Wales and more
