Abu Yusuf Bin Samaan Al-Husaini aka Nasiruddin was an early day Sufi Saint, a successor to his maternal uncle and master Abu Muhammad Bin Abi Ahmad, eleventh link in the Sufi Silsilah of Chishti Order, and the father and Master of Maudood Chishti. Khwajah Syed Abu Yusuf Bin Sam'aan Al-Husaini Al-Chishty was the successor of Khwaja Abu Mohammad Chishti, maternal uncle of his. Abu Yusuf Chisti was a descendant the of Prophet Mohammad. He died on the 3rd Rajab 459 A.H (20 May 1067 CE) at the age of 84. He was buried in Christ, the cradle and early grave of the early Chishtyya. According to the majority, KHAWAJA ABU YUSUF NASIR AL-DIN BIN SAMAAN year of birth 375 Hijri and died on 3rd Rajab 459 Hijri (1067 CE). However, some have said that he died in the beginning of Jamaadil Ukhraa while others again say, 1st Jamaadil Ula . 4th Rabiul Aakhir has also been claimed. His grave is in Chisht.
