Hojjatoleslam Abdolvahed Mousavi-Lari (born 1954) was the interior minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran during the presidency of Mohammad Khatami. He was born in Tehran. In 1997 when Mohammad Khatami was elected president of Iran, he was appointed as Vice President for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs but after the impeachment of Abdollah Nouri by Parliament, he was nominated by Khatami as Minister of Interior and Parliament voted to him. He was in office until 2005, when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad became president and nominated Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi.
