Abbotsford Ferry railway station was a small railway station on the branch line from Galashiels to Selkirk railway station at Selkirk in the Scottish county of Selkirkshire. The station was near Abbotsford House, formerly the residence of historical novelist and poet, Sir Walter Scott. Galashiels railway station is to serve the town of Galashiels, Scottish Borders, Scotland. It is to be reopened as part of the Waverley Line, a controversial new project to run between Edinburgh and Tweedbank, a village on the outskirts of Galashiels.
