Description

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The 66th Infantry Brigade was a British Army brigade formed in Italy on 20 July 1944. The brigade fought in the Italian Campaign until 27 January 1945 when it was shipped to Palestine and finally Syria where it ended the war. The British Army is the land warfare branch of Her Majesty's Armed Forces in the United Kingdom. It came into being with the unification of the Kingdom of England and Scotland into the Kingdom of Great Britain in 1707. The new British Army incorporated Regiments that had already existed in England and Scotland and was administered by the War Office from London. It has been managed by the Ministry of Defence since 1964.show more
