The 202nd (2/1st Kent) Brigade was a formation of the British Army during the First World War. It was raised as a second line brigade, of the Territorial Force an d assigned to the 71st Division and the 67th (2nd Home Counties) Division. The second line infantry battalions had a minimum strength of 600 men. The British Army is the land warfare branch of Her Majesty's Armed Forces in the United Kingdom. It came into being with the unification of the Kingdom of England and Scotland into the Kingdom of Great Britain in 1707. The new British Army incorporated Regiments that had already existed in England and Scotland and was administered by the War Office from London.
