About Grace Kamau

Grace is a writer from Nairobi, Kenya who is currently based in Dallas, Texas. She began writing poems and short stories at the age of 9 when she was enrolled at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in Nairobi. Throughout her poetry, articles, opinion-based monologues, and creative direction she engages with themes of femininity, spirituality, love, loss, and healing. When she is not writing, she is a student at the University of Texas working towards the completion of a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience.
