    A must-read for first-time entrepreneurs5

Eugenia As a business owner and business literature reader, if I were to recommend just one book on how to run your business, this would be it. It might very well save your business and your personal life as well.

The author dissects most frequent mistakes entrepreneurs make and offers them a practical solution for developing a successful business.

The problem with most first-time entrepreneurs is that they start a business thinking like a technician: they are good programmers, cooks, designers, accounts etc, and they think that, by starting their own business, all they have to do is continue to be good technicians. Soon enough, they'll find themselves juggling with sales, marketing, legal issues, HR, finances, as well as trying to get done the actual work the clients pay for.

Squeezing in more work hours will only get you closer to the burnout. So what is the solution? Turning your business into a system that works without you. If everything falls apart if you don't come to work every single day, then you don't have a business, you have a job, and it's the worst job in the world.

If you want to know how to do it, the book takes you through all the steps you need to take in order to free yourself from your business. Since I'm in the process of rethinking my whole business strategy, I'll have to back to you with the results :) by Eugenia
