    Give your money to a charity instead of buying this book.3

    a Book Depository customer "Dr Dawkins is an articulate writer and public speaker. His ideas are interesting and sometimes well researched. His appreciation of religious views is fairly good - he's not ignorant.
    He advocates ridicule of the things he thinks are ridiculous. That is the core of his argument. If it looks ridiculous then ridicule it.
    There's a problem with that approach. It will not persuade. It will not reach into the world view that a Christian or a Muslim or a Jew holds. So this book is addressed to people who are already inclined to accept its premise - namely that belief in the kind of God that the Bible reveals is ridiculous.
    If Dr Dawkins wrote this book to "reach people" then his method dooms him to fail in that goal. If he wrote it to earn some money, then he'll achieve the goal." by a Book Depository customer
