Jenny Tolliver has moved back home to Destiny Ohio after divorcing her husband she found cheating with a 21 year old student teacher. She is staying in the house she was raised in as a child. She has always followed the rules, being the good girl but things are about to change.
One night while she is in the house she decides to go star gazing. This helps her relax. She collects her telescope and heads across the lake to the other side as it has a unlimited view of the sky at night.
Who should she come across while there but Destiny's number one bad boy from her high school days Mick Brody. Mick is back in Destiny as a favour to someone, but he really doesn't want to be here. When he sees Jenny it brings back old memory's. He remember her in high school as the good girl. Mick needs Jenny to keep quite that she has seen him. She promised him she won't tell a soul.
Of course this is too good a secret for Jenny to keep and she tells her best friend at the first opportunity. Mick visits her house the next night to return her telescope that she dropped and things heat up from here. They spend as much time as they can together and they really connect but Mick's secrets could destroy everything they have going for them.
Jenny is finally coming to know the person she should be, she has always followed everyone else's rules. She married her husband, changed her life plans to suit him. With Rick he brings out the bad girl in her and it's great to see her develop her true personalty and at the same time not lose the other side of herself.
