There's a movie of the popular and well-loved book Perks of Being a Wallflower. A sentence that can bring audible groans on well-loved books being movie-ised but this one happens to be written and directed by the books author Stephen Chobsky. So, augurs well we think!

Friday 21st September is the 75th Anniversary of the publication of The Hobbit. Plenty of time to read the book if you haven't already before heading to the flics to see the three (!?) films.
