    Introducing World Search: new lift the flap books from Lonely Planet.

    Travel the world in search of the weird, wonderful and sometimes plain silly things that happen all over the globe. From animals and cities to the cool jobs people do, there’s plenty to look out for. So get ready to hunt for amazing treasure, spot some awesome objects and travel the world – without even setting foot out your front door.

    To celebrate, three lucky winners will each receive one set of these three great World Search titles - Incredible Animals, Amazing Jobs and Busy Places plus a Trunki Tipu Tiger travel case for tots. Just answer the simple question below to be in with a chance to win. Entries by Monday 7th April please.

    1. 1. The promoter is The Book Depository Limited (05124926) of 4th Floor, Thames Central, Hatfield Road, Slough, SL1 1QE, United Kingdom (‘TBD’). Our friends at Lonely Planet Publications Limited (03970495) of BBC Media Centre, 201 Wood Lane, London, W12 7TQ, United Kingdom (‘Lonely Planet’) are our promotional partners.

      2. To enter, answer the question provided in the competition post, leave the details requested and hit 'Enter'.

      3. You can enter from 9am GMT on Monday 24th March 2014. To be eligible, entries must be received on or before 5pm GMT on Monday 07th April 2014. No purchase is necessary to enter. Proof of entering is not proof that we have received your entry. Your entry is received at the time TBD receives it. Incomplete and invalid entries will not be accepted. Multiple entries from a single source (e.g., 'competition entry' website/company) will be disqualified.

      4. The competition is open to all except residents of Italy and people who are employed by TBD or Lonely Planet or their subsidiaries and affiliated companies and their immediate families or housemates. Parents/guardians must submit the entry for those aged 16 or under. Entries must be submitted by the named entrant (or their parent/guardian for those aged 16 or under) and will be invalid if found to come from a third party. Multiple entries from a single source (e.g., a 'competition entry' website/company) will be disqualified.

      5. Three entrants will win one prize each, which consists of:

      (a) A Trunki Tipu Tiger travel case; and

      (b) Three Lonely Planet 'World Search' books - Incredible Animals, Amazing Jobs and Busy Places.

      6. Winners will be selected at random from the collected entries. The winners will be announced on TBD’s website by 5pm GMT 07 April 2014. If the selected entry does not meet all of these terms and conditions, another entry will be selected from the remaining eligible entries. The decisions of TBD selection are final.

      7. The prize must be accepted as awarded. The promoter reserves the right to amend the specification of the prize or offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

      8. By entering this competition you agree to abide by these terms and conditions and consent to the use of your name, city of residence, photograph and/or image for publicity purposes in all media by Lonely Planet and TBD, without payment or compensation.

      9. The email address and phone number you provide to enter the competition will be used by us to contact you if necessary, and will not be shared with other companies. TBD will only use your personal information in compliance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and in accordance with our privacy policy.

      10. The right is reserved to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time.

      11. All entries become the property of TBD, which assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by TBD on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. TBD reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the email portion of this contest should a virus or bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of TBD corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, TBD reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

      12. For name/county of prize winner, please send a stamped addressed envelope marked ‘Lonely Planet Competition’ to The Book Depository, 4th Floor, Thames Central, Hatfield Road, Slough, SL1 1QE, United Kingdom. No entries should be sent to this address.

      13. TBD and Lonely Planet have organised this competition in good faith and do not accept liability relating to the prizes.

      I think this is a brilliant idea, for children to have the chance to win an amazing package. My daughter loves her books so much she would love this package,plus a lovely place to store your books.

      What an awesome collection, I am a Kindergarten Teacher and that would be a brilliant resource to get my group of children interested in literacy, but also teaching them about the rest of the world.

      my grandson is 9 weeks old and has gone on his 1st holiday to loo this weekend. the books would be a fantastic start to his travels and what better than a trunki to keep them safe in.

      Little hands friendly these books are a delight to the eye and mind.Read not once but many times and always finding something new to discover and talk about. Younger and older children will gain pleasure from reading all these books. Priced as a surprise book not an special occasion present. Wonderful.
