DescriptionThis is a large-format postcard book with rounded corners featuring 30 colour illustrations taken from "A Year in Japan" (Princeton Architectural Press, 2006) by Kate Williamson. Like the book, "A Year in Japan" stationery features the delicate, finely wrought colour illustrations from Kate Williamson. Combined with her whimsical observations on Japanese culture, the drawings document her year spent living there.

    Author Information
After graduating from college, writer and illustrator Kate Williamson accepted a postgraduate fellowship that brought her to live for a year in Kyoto, Japan. While there, she documented in words and pictures the extraordinary people, places, and objects she encountered. These enchanting scenes from everyday Japanese life can be found in her first book, "A Year in Japan" (Princeton Architectural Press, 2006).
