  • Great book5

Emma My daughter got this for her 2nd birthday, it also comes with a "Wonky Donkey" toy. She loves both the book and toy. Easy book to read to her and great fun, she loves it when we get to the "HE HAW" part so she can join in!! by Emma

  • Rude fun for all5

Jim Brown It's a great wee book that's had my grandkids and me singing along for days. Just the right amount of "four years old" humour told through a catchy rhyme. by Jim Brown

  • Very amusing!4

Deanne Hyde Although the quality of the soft cover book is indeed a bit poor, as noted by others, the book itself is great! It is very amusing with fabulous repeating rhymes and funny illustrations. I totally recommend this book! by Deanne Hyde

  • The Wonky Donkey5

Tess Craig Smith's cd makes this book come to life. I have bought it for our collection and have gifted it to our mokopuna (grandchildren) and other little ones in our family... they all love it. I was fortunate to see Craig engage with primary school children in NZ last month and was very impressed with his interactive style. No wonder the Wonky Donkey is a favourite of ours. Our book came with a small donkey which makes the whole experience very enjoyable. I had to look for a bumble bee to accompany Willie the Bumblebee though. Craig is talented and brilliant. by Tess

  • Brilliant!5

Liz Tibbutt The best testament about this book is that the author lives near us and whenever we see him out and about, there are always littlies (including mine) pointing excitedly and saying, "Look - that's the wonky donkey man." by Liz Tibbutt

  • Wonkey Donkey5

Georgina Smith I am a early childhood educator and have read this book many times. The children enjoy the repetitive words and complete the sentence before I do. We always follow the reading of the book with the C.D., which encourages the children to dance after sitting still for the story, it also gives them an opportunity to work the giggles out. georgina by Georgina Smith

  • Great Kids book from NZ author5

Natasha Barnett We first heard Craig Smith, the author, sing this story at a local pizza restaurant to a group of children, they were enraptured with the story as we were. So when it was released here in NZ as a book with CD, I bought a copy for my godson who was turning 2 and gave it to him for his birthday. He absolutely loves the Wonky Donkey and often wants it read to him, needless to say it is now a well worn book. by Natasha Barnett

  • PLEASE note3

Angela Henderson This is a great book, loads of children enjoy its funny lines and repetition. BUT please note, this version DOESN'T include the CD and I had trouble trying to download the song from the website they provided. It was lucky I already had the CD version of the book. For those that are worried about the cover, put some clear seal/duraseal over it. It will protect it and you can wipe it clean. by Angela Henderson

  • Great Book5

Laura Day My two girls absolutely love this book. They wait & giggle in anticipation for the "stinky dinky" page!! We have also seen Craig Smith perform this to groups of kids who are all transfixed by him & the songs. Look out for Willbee the Bumblebee....... by Laura Day
