DescriptionJasper, the unlikeliest of heroes, finds himself stranded in a wild and uncharted valley with no memory of how he got there. An evil Lord and his army of demon fireflies are in hot pursuit and are bent on capturing him. At all cost however, Jasper must make his way home; the fate of the world is resting on his knowledge of the invading army. His journey through the valley towards home is not without peril, as there are strange beings living there that have their own ideas of who is friend, who is foe and what side of the impending war they will choose to fight on.

    Author Information
S.D. Ferrell lives in Simcoe Ontario Canada, is the mother to five daughters and grandmother to thirteen grandchildren. She grew up on a small hobby farm in southwestern Ontario with six sisters and one brother. Her memories of their adventures on the farm were a great inspiration when writing the story line for a fantasy adventure tale. She has been quoted as saying, "Creative writing comes easy when you are a bit odd and have an insanely, over- active, imagination." Ms. Ferrell currently is working on the second book in the series, The Shadow of Erebos.
