Genuine, Beautifully Written, Deeply Moving
In this book Susannah opens her heart and shares the journey she embarked upon in the wake of shattering, excruciating grief. She focusses on the transformative power of her grief, rather than the grief itself. She focusses on the many ways in which she had to unravel herself, because, when something tragic and traumatic occurs in your life, all the other hurts and wounds come flowing through that rip in your soul. Healing takes time, and patience. There is no shortcut. The only way is through. With the knowledge that one day ... one day, you'll find yourself far enough from the initial blast that you can really see. The book is punctuated by reflections at the end of each chapter, as well as her trademark dreamy photography.
