Nice cover, terrible version!
I bought this expecting to find Karl Marx and Engel's work a good read.
Instead, I found that 90% of the pages are taken up by a critique, by a non-marxist academic, who seems to wish to pull it apart as a polemic piece of propaganda! If I wanted to read what a neo-liberal thinks of Marxist works, I would go read the Daily Mail...advice to readers, don't bother buying it, there are plenty of other versions around that give the majority of the book to Marx and Engels than a useless 'academic'.
Its only saving grace is the various editions towards the back of the book. by Andrew Parnell
