Reviews for Succubus Revealed
Revelations all the way
The Georgina Kincaid Series comes to an end with the proper send off. This book rounds up all the loose ends in the storyline and its ending is the one that the main characters deserved. Well-written, with a rhythm, humour, sensibility and some mystery up till the final pages, Succubus Revealed gracefully says goodbye to its fans. There are a lot of touching and sweet dialogues, along with some funny moments, a bit of challenge and a showdown in the final chapters that leaves you breathless. Fans will probably pick on the clues and guess the outcome in some situations, but that doesn't mean that the story is predictable nor is it boring. Quite the contrary, from the time you begin you just keep on reading until final page hits you and you realize that that's it. The best scenes in the book come courtesy of Carter, search for them and you will not be disappointed. by Georgia

In Georgina Kincaid, succubus and she-demon, #1 New York Times bestselling author Richelle Mead has created one of her most enticing characters. But with a shot at love, and maybe even redemption, is the ultimate seductress finally going soft? Like hell she is. . .
Georgina Kincaid has had an eternity to figure out the opposite sex, but sometimes they still surprise her. Take Seth Mortensen. The man has risked his soul to become Georgina's boyfriend. Still, with Lucifer for a boss, Georgina can't just hang up her killer heels and settle down to domestic bliss. In fact, she's being forced to transfer operations. . .to Las Vegas.
The City of Sin is a dream gig for a succubus, but Georgina's allies are suspicious. Why are the powers-that-be so eager to get her away from Seattle-and from Seth? Georgina is one of Hell's most valuable assets, but if there's any way out of the succubus business she plans to take it-no matter how much roadkill she leaves behind. She just hopes the casualties won't include the one man she's risking everything for. . .
Georgie is deeply in love with Seth and would do anything for him. She is happy where she is working in Seattle for Jerome. She has her friends, and life for this Succubus is good. Of course when things are good being told you have to change your life and uproot yourself is enough to make you pull out your hair.
Georgina confused about how this notice to move came about. It didn't follow the standard protocols of Hell and she decides to investigate it to make sure it's NOT a mistake. Engaging the help of her friend Hugh she starts looking into things that Hell would rather she not know about.
From this point on she and her allies are going to be on a roller coaster ride that will take them into their pasts and puts their very existence at risk.
I have to admit that I've only been a sporadic follower of this series since my library does not always have all the books I'd want to read in stock (the budget crunch always hits libraries first). I chose this book from a list of titles offered to me and when I saw Richelle Mead's name I immediately put myself down for a review copy. I'm glad I did. Now I'm going to have to go back and re-read this fantastic series from book 1 all the way to the end.
Richelle Mead is a multi talented, multi series author (Georgina Kincade Series AND the Dark Swan Series). She can be found at www.richellemead.com and at www.facebook.com/#!/richellemeadfanpage
