DescriptionAustralia's Mornington Peninsula, which juts into the ocean near Melbourne, Victoria, is well-known to Aussie wine lovers, but less visible to aficianados from other parts of the world. Australia romance writer A. B. Gayle and American writer William Maltese here combine their talents to produce a detailed guide to the major and minor vintners of this important region. Everyone seriously (and recreationally) interested in the drinking of fine wines will find something of interest here. Stay thirsty!

  • Great holiday help. Thanks!5

MRS K J NICHOLLS We are planning to do the Great South Road along the beautiful coast of Victoria, and ending up with a few days on the Mornington Peninsula.

We love light wine - particularly if we have a lot of driving... so this wonderful cellar door wine guide is particularly timely. Thank you, A.B. Gayle. It's a simply formatted book (with larger printing which is much appreciated these days, particularly when tired..), and very clearly written with driving directions - and just the inspiration and guidance we needed to plan our holiday.

We already looking forward to returning home and trying our selections with the simple(?) but yummy-sounding recipes in the back of the book! by MRS K J NICHOLLS
