    Geoff Walker Prospective purchasers should be aware that this volume contains five Rumpole stories, all of which are present in another Rumpole book, "Rumpole at Christmas" which I purchased before buying "A Rumpole Christmas" over the net in the belief that these volumes contained entirely separate material.

    As the Acknowledgments Page of A Rumpole Christmas discloses, the five stories, Rumpole and Father Christmas, Rumpole's Slimmed-Down Christmas (previously published as Rumpole and the Health Farm Murder), Rumpole and the Boy, Rumpole and the Old Familiar Faces, and Rumpole and the Christmas Break have been previously published elsewhere.

    These five are among the seven found in Rumpole at Christmas.

    My advice: Buying both books is unnecessary. by Geoff Walker
