DescriptionThe Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion is a story about love, life and lobster every Tuesday... Meet Don Tillman. Don is getting married. He just doesn't know who to yet. But he has designed a very detailed questionnaire to help him find the perfect woman. One thing he already knows, though, is that it's not Rosie. Absolutely, completely, definitely not. Sometimes, though, you don't find love: love finds you...

Librarian Lavender When I first heard about this book I immediately wanted to read it. Who wouldn't love the emotionally different Don and his reactions? It's such an endearing story about falling in love and messing up over and over again while trying to do things right. I laughed out loud several times and can recommend this book to anyone. It's been a huge success and I think that's completely deserved. The writing is clever and witty. Don's questionnaire is added and I couldn't help to fill it out. It was a nice detail to be able to actually see it.
I also liked Rosie. She's got such a spunky personality. I think the best quality of the book is the writing from Don's perspective which makes his character so real and vivid. Don's friend Gene makes the story even funnier. There's a lot of stereotyping, but the author used it to his advantage.
I can only come to one conclusion: read this book! Especially if you're looking for something funny which is not too hard to read, but has a certain level of intelligence as well. by Librarian Lavender
