Robby Robin sits on top of the highest tree and observes the land around him. From the Garcia's, who put food out for the animals, to the Johnson's farm few things escape his watchful eye. It if from this lofty perch that he keeps careful watch over one very special tree...a tree with a nest, a beautiful lady robin, and some eggs. Join Robby in his adventure as he become a father, teaches his children, and travels south for the winter before once again returning to the land he loves. One of America's most beloved birds, the Robin holds a powerful place in native mythology, is the state bird of several states, and is recognized as a symbol of springtime. Robby Robin is a fascinating tale that will open your child's eyes to the wonders of this magnificent bird. Robert Stitt, a former member of the United States Air Force, has lived and worked on four continents. His travels have taken him to nearly 500 cities in 25 countries. He began writing books while living in the Middle East where quality children's books in English were either unavailable or unaffordable. Leaning on his profession as an educator, he strove to provide his children with stories that were fun, age-appropriate and meaningful. His stories often centered around foundational academic and social skills, positive self-image, and nature. His past experiences, as well as his present life, continue to inspire his stories. He currently serves as a school administrator in Alaska where he lives with his wife and three children.
