Product description

'This second, revised, edition of "Rethinking Mycenaean Palaces" builds on the 1999 volume, and reproduces in Part I the original edition in its entirety. Part II of this volume includes five new chapters that address areas of interest that were not included in the first edition: on the Corinthia, Thessaly, 'Mycenaean' Crete, elite goods production, and inter-regional trade, by Pullen and Tartaron, Adrimi-Sismani, Driessen and Langohr, Schon, and Cline, respectively. These chapters were added to complement the studies included in the 1999 edition, which focused exclusively on the southern Mainland, and mostly on Messenia' - "Cotsen Monograph 59", Cotsen Institute of Archaeology 2007.
